I was invited by The Midwest Popular Culture Association / American Culture Association (MPCA/ACA) to discuss my alternative path to becoming an academic.

I was invited by Graduates Anonyomous to discuss my plan to pivot my master's to a Ph.D. in Media and Communications. Although I did not pursue the degree I was successful in pivoting being accepted to a Ph.D. in Media and Communications and ultimately finding a path that was a better fit.
